The Friends of St Peter’s work in association with The Churches Conservation Trust<\/a> to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Increase awareness of the church and its history
* Encourage greater use of the church for community events<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Headed by an enthusiastic committee, the Friends are promoting the use of this much loved building by all members of the local community for concerts, exhibitions, amateur dramatic performances and similar events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Friends have also researched the history of the church, its monuments and
those who served in the First World War. This information is fully displayed
during the Heritage Open Days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St Peter\u2019s is available for a few church services each year which are run by
the active church, All Saints, Offord Cluny, including the very popular Carols
by Candlelight at Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Friends provide a pool of volunteers to assist the Churches Conservation Trust\u2019s custodian to care for the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership is open to all and by joining the Friends of St Peter\u2019s, Offord D\u2019Arcy you will be assisting the Trust to develop greater use of the church. Become a member here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
